1. Introduction

Blue Planit LLC ("Blue Planit," "SyncStaq," "we," "us," or "our") operates SyncStaq, a Stripe-to-Google-Sheets data sync service.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, create an account, connect Stripe or Google, use SyncStaq, contact us, or otherwise interact with us.

By using SyncStaq, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, information we receive from connected services, and information generated through your use of SyncStaq.

Account and contact information

We may collect:

  • Name.

  • Email address.

  • Company or organization name.

  • Account login information.

  • Support messages, feedback, survey responses, and communications.

Google account and Google Sheets information

When you connect Google, we may collect and process:

  • Google account email address.

  • Google account ID or related identifiers.

  • Google OAuth tokens or authorization credentials, if needed to provide the service.

  • Spreadsheet IDs, sheet IDs, sheet names, spreadsheet names, and related configuration.

  • Metadata needed to create, identify, read, write, update, protect, or sync Google Sheets used with SyncStaq.

SyncStaq is designed to access Google Sheets only as needed to provide the service you request. Depending on your permissions and product configuration, SyncStaq may read from or write to Google Sheets connected to SyncStaq.

Stripe account and Stripe business data

When you connect Stripe, we may collect and process:

  • Stripe account IDs and user IDs.

  • Stripe OAuth tokens or authorization credentials, if needed to provide the service.

  • Stripe objects and related data needed to sync your selected Stripe data to Google Sheets, such as customers, invoices, invoice line items, charges, payouts, subscriptions, disputes, payment intent IDs, product information, fees, discounts, coupons, timestamps, object IDs, and related metadata.

  • Sync configuration and selected data types.

SyncStaq processes Stripe data to provide the sync service. Depending on the workflow, we may temporarily process Stripe business data in memory or through cloud infrastructure, write it to your Google Sheet, and store technical metadata or limited enrichment/cache data needed to operate, troubleshoot, secure, or improve the service.

Sync, diagnostic, and technical information

We may collect:

  • Sync status, sync history, cursor state, backfill status, row maps, object IDs, hashes, timestamps, and configuration.

  • Logs, errors, retries, performance information, API responses, and diagnostic information.

  • Device, browser, IP address, operating system, referrer, pages visited, and usage events.

  • Security, fraud prevention, and abuse-prevention information.

Website, analytics, and tag information

We use analytics, tag management, and logging tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Amplitude, and AWS logs. These tools may collect or process:

  • IP address.

  • Device, browser, and operating system information.

  • Pages visited, referral source, date/time, and session information.

  • Product usage events, feature usage, and conversion events.

  • Cookie identifiers, analytics identifiers, or similar online identifiers.

  • Error, performance, and diagnostic logs.

Billing and payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

We may receive and store billing-related information from our payment processor, such as:

  • Customer ID.

  • Subscription ID.

  • Plan, trial, renewal, cancellation, invoice, and payment status.

  • Limited billing contact information.

  • Transaction metadata needed to manage subscriptions, support, taxes, refunds, and accounting.

3. Information We Do Not Intend to Store

We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers or payment card security codes on our servers.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain SyncStaq.

  • Connect to Stripe and Google with your authorization.

  • Sync selected Stripe data into Google Sheets.

  • Create, identify, protect, update, and manage synced sheets.

  • Run backfills, scheduled syncs, retries, and sync status workflows.

  • Troubleshoot errors, provide support, and respond to requests.

  • Process payments, subscriptions, trials, cancellations, and refunds.

  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, investigate suspicious activity, and protect users.

  • Monitor usage, reliability, performance, and product quality.

  • Improve, develop, and test SyncStaq.

  • Send administrative, transactional, security, billing, support, and product communications.

  • Send marketing communications where permitted by law and your preferences.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

5. Google API Services User Data

SyncStaq's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use Google API data only to provide and improve user-facing features of SyncStaq, maintain and secure the service, troubleshoot, comply with applicable law, or as otherwise permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy.

We do not use Google API data for advertising. We do not sell Google API data.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate SyncStaq, such as cloud hosting, databases, monitoring, analytics, tag management, logging, email, support, security, and payment processing providers.

  • Stripe and Google as necessary to provide integrations you authorize.

  • Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and brokers.

  • Authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

  • Successors or potential successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar transaction.

Service providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to use it only for the services they provide to us.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Cookies, Analytics, Tags, and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, analytics tools, tags, pixels, logs, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand product usage, measure performance, improve SyncStaq, and support marketing.

These tools may collect information such as IP address, device information, browser type, pages visited, referral source, and product events.

Tools we currently use include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Amplitude, and AWS logs.

Some cookies and similar technologies are necessary to operate SyncStaq. Others, such as analytics cookies or tags, help us understand website and product usage.

Where required by law, including for certain EU/UK visitors, we will request consent before using non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies. You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings, consent banner, or other tools we make available.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SyncStaq, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, account status, legal requirements, backup cycles, security needs, and operational requirements.

If you ask us to delete information, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information we are required to delete, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud prevention, dispute, and legitimate business record exceptions.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and security practices appropriate for a small SaaS business.

No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing of personal information.

You may:

  • Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information.

  • Disconnect SyncStaq from Google through your Google account permissions.

  • Disconnect SyncStaq from Stripe through your Stripe account or by contacting us.

  • Cancel your subscription through the product, billing portal, or support.

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

11. EU/UK Privacy Rights and Legal Bases

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws.

Depending on the circumstances, these rights may include the right to:

  • Access personal data we process about you.

  • Correct inaccurate personal data.

  • Request deletion of personal data.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Request portability of certain personal data.

Our legal bases for processing personal data may include:

  • Contract: to provide SyncStaq, process subscriptions, connect Stripe and Google, sync data, and respond to support requests.

  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, debug, improve, and understand usage of SyncStaq, prevent abuse, and communicate about the service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

  • Consent: for certain optional communications, analytics cookies, tags, or similar technologies where consent is required.

  • Legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, and dispute-related obligations.

For personal data in Stripe or Google accounts that you connect to SyncStaq, you may be the controller and we may act as your processor or service provider for that data. For account, billing, website, analytics, security, and business operations data, we may act as an independent controller.

12. International Transfers

SyncStaq is operated from the United States. If you access SyncStaq from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Those countries may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live.

Where required for transfers of personal data from the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland to countries that have not been found to provide adequate protection, we will rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

13. California Privacy Notice

This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"), applies to us.

Categories of personal information we may collect

In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as name, email address, account IDs, customer IDs, IP address, device identifiers, Stripe account IDs, Google account IDs, and online identifiers.

  • Commercial information, such as subscription status, plan, payment status, invoices, purchase history, and refund information.

  • Internet or electronic network activity information, such as website visits, product usage events, referral source, browser information, and interactions with SyncStaq.

  • Professional or employment-related information, such as company name, role, title, or business contact information if you provide it.

  • Customer records information, such as billing contact details or account information.

  • Sensitive personal information, only to the extent OAuth tokens, access credentials, or account login-related information are treated as sensitive personal information under applicable law.

  • Inferences, such as product usage or interest signals derived from analytics and support interactions.

Sources of personal information

We collect personal information from you, your connected Stripe and Google accounts, your use of SyncStaq, payment processors, service providers, analytics tools, logs, and communications with us.

Business or commercial purposes

We use personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing SyncStaq, processing subscriptions, syncing data, securing the service, analytics, support, debugging, communications, compliance, and business operations.

Categories of personal information disclosed

We may disclose the categories of personal information listed above to service providers, Stripe, Google, payment processors, analytics providers, tag-management providers, cloud/logging providers, professional advisors, authorities, and business transaction participants as described in this Privacy Policy.

Sale or sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use Google API data for advertising, and we do not sell Google API data.

Our use of analytics and tag-management tools may involve disclosure of online identifiers, usage data, or similar information to analytics providers such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude. Depending on how these tools are configured and how California law applies, this may be considered a "share" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or may otherwise require opt-out rights.

California rights

California residents may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share.

  • Access personal information.

  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Delete personal information.

  • Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, if applicable.

15. Business Users and Customer Data

SyncStaq is primarily intended for business users. If you connect Stripe or Google accounts containing personal information about your customers, employees, contractors, or other individuals, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, notices, and consents required to use SyncStaq with that information.

You are responsible for your own privacy notices, customer communications, legal bases, data processing obligations, and compliance requirements.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated policy, sending an email, displaying an in-product notice, or using another reasonable method.

The updated Privacy Policy becomes effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of SyncStaq after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
